Day 24

Day twenty-four: A picture of something you wish you could change.

I wish I could have had kids.  I love kids.  But you know what? I am playing the game with the cards that were dealt to me.  I am playing the game and not cheating.  I am playing the game and having fun doing it.

I will be ok.  I vow to be the bestest auntie in the entire world! To spoil them rotten and to love them to death.  I promise to take care of them and always have an ear, shoulder or arms to protect and give to them (maybe the arms to just hug them.  I need them!).  I promise to always be there for them.

Day 23

Day twenty-three: A picture of my favorite book

I own thousands, and I mean thousands of books.  You have no idea.

I can't choose.  I will read anything and everything.

I will even lend them out!

I have more books than some libraries.

Love them

So much

SOOOOOOOO Much.

Day 22

Day twenty-two: A picture of something you wish you were better at.

Wow.  Just one picture? I have a few things that I know I am pretty good at, but one day when I am semi retired, I would love to go back to school for a few things.

They are:

Photography

Floral design

Cooking classes.  I would like to be a certified professional chef

These are on my bucket list.  One day I will do them.  I have had a taste of all of them (some literally) and I can't wait to pursue them more!

Just think, one day you can come and visit and I will make you an incredible meal that you will eat at a table with the most incredible floral centerpiece and I will photograph you all happy and relaxed after! (helping me do dishes!)

Day 21

Day twenty-one: A picture of something you wish you can forget

I wish that I could forget a lot of things but high school is one of them.

I hated high school.

The clicks

The people

Some teachers

They were hard years for me.  I had a lot of personal and health issues that made them not exactly enjoyable.

I do love some of the friendships that I still have though.  There are not that many, and they were all restarted WAAAAAYYYYYY after high school was done, but I do love them.

And I did meet Husband there :)

Day 20

Day twenty: A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel

I want to go to New York.  I want to go shopping, go to broadway, eat amazing meals, walk in central park.  I want to go skating at Christmas and drink hot chocolate while wandering around looking at window displays before hopping on a sleigh ride through the park.  I want to go in summer and see all the greenery.

I just want to go to New York.

Day 19

Day nineteen: A picture of when you were little

Seriously people? All my photo albums are still packed!

I found a few though.  They are all close to the same age, but really? Was I not the cutest baby......EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out that attitude! I love this picture.
I love how stylish I am.  And the hair! Wow.  This is my kindergarten picture.
This picture makes me laugh.  This was my outfit for a Christmas play at church.  I was 5.  I SOOOOO don't look very angelic.
The original cabbage patch doll.  Notice the matching pajamas? My mom also got us the beds and blankets.  These are all still around somewhere.  Jill, do you have them?
Very first day of school.  Again.  The clothes blow my ming.  A blue coat and toque, the ugliest pink sweater and pants, and the pale pink boots? What was I thinking???

So there you have it.  Pictures of me as a kid.  All taken somewhere around the age of 4-6.  Maybe one day when the photo albums get unpacked, I will post a baby picture.  I was so freakin' cute.  All eyes and white blond hair.

Day 18

Day eighteen: A picture of your biggest insecurity.

I would love to say that I have no insecurities.

This would be a lie.  I am a  child of God and am trying to love myself for who I am, but I have some huge ones.

  • My weight
  • My laziness
  • My lack of self confidence

These are the three biggest.

I am working on them though.  I didn't even turn on the tv yesterday! Do you know how big of a deal that is to me? The books from the previous post are also awesome.  They are starting to make me think.  I want his confidence.

So here is a pic.

It has nothing to do with this post.  This is my crazy toque.  I love it and it makes me happy.  You can unwind the ears and have long hair or do tons of crazy things.  Pretty sexy pic, eh?
